The Third Sector Lab website is undergoing a makeover, it will return in its full glory soon with info on clients we've worked with, services offered and tons of useful resources.

A few things about me in a boring list:

- I help charities and social entrepreneurs with social and digital media as Head Consultant for Third Sector Lab.
- I'm the founder of Be Good Be Social, Scotland's third sector social media gathering which has now gone global with events in Toronto and beyond.
- I sit on Scottish Community Foundation's National Grants Committee.
- I'm the founder of ThirdSectorForums.co.uk, a friendly place for social entrepreneurs and non-profit types to learn, debate and connect
- I've blogged for the likes of The Guardian and The Sunday Mail.
- I love mountain biking but I'm very, very bad at it

Image of the Day - Fruit machines on the beach

'Black Swan', by artist Miles Thurlow, is a public art work consisting of 13 fruit machines on a beach.

You can catch it from now until 5th September 2010 on Portobello Beach, Edinburgh.

Image of the day - Jets in Tate Britain

I've decided to start using my Posterous as a repository for exciting images I stumble upon online. I've rather imaginatively called this my 'Image of the day'.

The first ever image of the day is Fiona Banner's new work - a Harrier Sea Jet and a Jaguar installed in Tate Britain. Hanging like a strung up bird, the jump jet is as terrifying as it is beautiful. I'd love to know what people think of the first image of the day and, indeed, Banner's new work. Comments below.
